On Monday, April 19, 2021, the inauguration event of the First Marib Conference on Human Rights will launch, which is organized by civil society organizations in coordination with the Social Affairs and Labor Office and the Human Rights Office in Marib, to discuss the human rights situation in Marib, the implications of the Houthi escalation, and the responsibilities of the local and international human rights community.
A group of highlighted concerned and interested in the field of human rights and the humanitarian situation inside and outside will participate in the conference by presenting working papers and various aspects dealing with the situation of human rights and public freedoms in our country in general and Marib in particular.
On this occasion, the conference’s preparatory committee will send a general invitation to attend and participate in all media outlets, journalists, interested people, human rights workers, and activists to launch the first Marib conference for human rights .
